The Lovely Gilda

09 Apr

The poetry of friendship, I have often thought of friendship this way, a story that has a beginning, a middle and an end. I often marvel at the fibre that holds friendship together, the shared loves, art, movies, similar ideas, loves lost and found; laughter and crying. Of course there is so much more to friendship, maybe it is one soul identifying another, or a meeting of minds. I feel, friendship is best described as kindred spirits.

In the photograph below is my good friend Gi, she is one of the most amazing people I have ever met.

I met Gilda back in 2007 at the time I thought what a really warm, lovely lady and at the precise moment in my life – I had no idea just how beautiful she was inside and out. I couldn’t foresee then the great friend she would become and that if I was told tomorrow – we couldn’t be friends or that I would never see her again that my heart would surely break in two.

Below is a lovely photo of Gilda in our favourite London pub.
